
As part of the commitment of Practical Education Center at the College of Education – Kuwait University to preparing and equipping future teachers with essential field experience, the center, in collaboration with the Arabic Language Supervision Office in the Farwaniya Educational District, organized a training workshop on Wednesday morning for all students enrolled in the Practical Education (Field Training) course specializing in Arabic language.
The workshop took place at the College of Education’s South Campus auditorium, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with the attendance of field training students from the elementary, intermediate, and secondary levels.
The event was inaugurated with a welcoming address by the Director of the Practical Education Center, Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al-Suhaili, who emphasized the importance of this phase in shaping the teacher’s personality and building professional confidence. The workshop featured presentations by Mr. Nasser Al-Eiban and Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Enezi, both serving as Senior Arabic Language Supervisors in the Farwaniya Educational District. They delivered insightful sessions addressing major classroom challenges and strategies to manage them effectively.
During the workshop, the speakers stressed the importance of embodying the spirit of a teacher, and approaching classroom situations with calmness and confidence, without falling into discouragement or hesitation. They also encouraged students to develop problem-solving skills in educational contexts through constructive approaches, and to uphold the ethical standards and exemplary conduct expected of professional educators.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative, recognizing its role in enhancing their preparedness for the teaching field. Dr. Al-Suhaili extended his gratitude to all attendees and praised the outstanding organizational efforts of the center’s team, which included Ms. Mudhawi Al-Enezi, Ms. Noura Al-Rashidi, and Ms. Balqees Al-Otaibi. He affirmed the Center’s ongoing commitment to providing continuous support and educational supervision to Practical Education students.
