As a Step Toward Implementing Highest International Practices to Ensure a Safe Academic Evaluation Environment: Kuwait University President Inspects the Third Round of Academic Aptitude Tests for 7,200 Students

In line with Kuwait University’s ongoing efforts to provide a supportive educational environment, and as part of its commitment to assessing and enhancing student skills, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, President of Kuwait University, conducted an inspection tour at Sabah Al-Salem University City on Saturday, May 10, 2025, to review the progress of the first test in the third round of academic aptitude assessments, in which 7,200 students participated—including 26 students with special needs.


This initiative reflects the university’s endeavor to keep pace with modern educational approaches and implement the highest international standards in student assessment, thereby reinforcing its standing as a leading academic institution.


During her tour of the assessment halls across various college buildings, Prof. Al-Mailem affirmed that Kuwait University, through the Office of the Assistant Vice President for Evaluation and Measurement, had successfully conducted the third round of academic aptitude tests in a smooth and secure manner. These tests are designed to measure core competencies of high school students in preparation for admission to their desired university majors.


She noted the high turnout of students aspiring to join the university and emphasized the university's commitment to inclusivity, as evidenced by the provision of dedicated testing rooms and trained proctors for students with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable and secure testing experience for all.


Prof. Al-Mailem also commended the efforts of all organizing teams, administrative units, and work centers involved in facilitating the assessment environment, acknowledging their role in enabling students to perform at their best.


As part of the visit, Prof. Al-Mailem engaged with students and their parents to hear their feedback and observations regarding the testing process—underscoring the university's dedication to student safety and to ensuring a positive and seamless educational journey.
