The Faculty of Dentistry at the Health Sciences Center, Kuwait University, held the fourth edition of the late Dr. Jasem Mohammed Hussain Bin Eisa Award—may he rest in peace—the first Kuwaiti dentist. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Rashid Al‑Azmi, Acting Dean of the Faculty; founding and former dean Dr. Jawad Behbehani; Acting Administrative Director Rania Al‑Kulaib; former Administrative Director Jawad Al‑Gharib; the family of the late doctor represented by his grandson Jasem Sharif Bin Eisa; Chief Executive Officer of Al Sayafe Medical and Pharmaceutical Supplies Company Mr. Ghassan Homsi; and members of the academic and administrative staff of the college.

During the event, the top three graduates of the seventh‑year class for the 2024/2025 academic year were honored: Dr. Dima Al‑Matar, Dr. Fatima Al‑Enzi, and Dr. Rabab Al‑Mash'an. Distinguished employees were also recognized: Ali Bouhamad, Asayel Al‑Adwani, Dalal Al‑Shirazi, Shamima Rouf, Hazem Saber, Eng. Hawraa Safar, and Asmaa Al‑Awadhi.

In his remarks, Dr. Rashid Al‑Azmi recalled his experience working with the pioneer of Kuwaiti dentistry, the late Dr. Jasem Bin Eisa, noting that encouragement and support for colleagues were among the doctor’s essential qualities—qualities now embodied in this motivational award and carried forward by his family.

Dr. Al‑Azmi praised the loyalty shown by the late doctor’s family and Al Sayafe Medical and Pharmaceutical Supplies Company in preserving the memory of such a generous figure through the award that bears his name for the fourth consecutive year. He explained that the “777” Award is held every July, honoring seven employees in addition to the top three seventh‑year students who graduated last month. He extended his sincere thanks to the sponsor Al Sayafe Medical and Pharmaceutical Supplies Company, the Public Relations Department, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
