
The Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at Kuwait University concluded its second summer program, Learn and Have Fun, targeting children aged 8 to 12 years old. The closing ceremony took place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Sabah Al-Salem University City, with the aim of enhancing children's skills and nurturing their creativity in a safe educational environment. The event was attended by the Acting Director of the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, Ms. Munira Ibrahim Al-Baz, along with the training and volunteer teams from the Community Programs Division of the Center.
In this context, Ms. Munira Ibrahim Al-Baz stated that the activities of the second summer club, Learn and Have Fun, commenced on August 10 with the participation of a large number of boys and girls. She emphasized that the program reflects the Center’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe and engaging educational and recreational environment that contributes to the development of participants’ skills and capacities. The program featured a series of lectures and interactive workshops that combined learning and entertainment, including sessions in Arabic language, English language, Arabic calligraphy, fun science, and mathematics. Ms. Al-Baz extended her gratitude and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the program.
Participants and their parents expressed their satisfaction with the variety and quality of the program’s activities, affirming that the summer club was a rich experience that left a positive impact on the children and contributed to the development of their cognitive and social skills.
The event concluded with a recognition ceremony honoring the participating students as well as the volunteers, including supervisors and administrative staff from the Community Programs Division at the Center.
