On this morning, it gives me great pleasure to welcome the university community at the onset of a new academic year, one that carries with it great hopes and renewed ambitions. Together, we welcome this year with a spirit of optimism and dedication, and with the firm belief that every academic year is an opportunity for achievement. Kuwait University reaffirms its commitment to continuously remain a beacon of knowledge, a hub for creativity, and a field for nurturing minds in line with the highest academic standards.

The beginning of this year marks a new endeavor in the path of the educational journey, enriched by the introduction of several new academic programs designed to meet the needs of today’s labor market in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. These programs come in response to the rapid transformations that are shaping a new reality founded on a knowledge economy, innovation, and technology. We will also witness the relocation of our students from the College of Law to Sabah Al-Salem University City.

Our noble mission can only be realized through collective effort and continuous work to further develop our university environment in line with the changes and challenges of our time.

In conclusion, we pray to Almighty Allah that this academic year be filled with accomplishments, enriched with dedication and excellence, and may Allah protect our beloved homeland, granting it ever greater dignity and prosperity under the leadership of His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may Allah protect him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may Allah protect him, along with the wise government.
