
In a pioneering initiative that reflects the College of Education’s commitment to empowering and equipping future educators, the Field Training Center at Kuwait University’s College of Education is launching its First Career Fair under the theme: “Future Teacher: Between Qualification and Empowerment.” The event will take place from May 5 to 7, 2025, at the southern lobby of the College of Education, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This educational fair—the first of its kind organized by the Field Training Center—aims to serve as an effective communication platform linking student teachers with key stakeholders in the educational sector. It is designed to support their professional empowerment during their academic journey and beyond, while enhancing their readiness to enter the field with confidence and professional awareness.
Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al-Sahli, Director of the Field Training Center, emphasized that the event is a pioneering step toward supporting the professional development of student teachers, stating:
“This fair aligns with the Center’s strategic vision to equip students with both field and professional skills, and to introduce them to the institutions that support their specialization—ultimately enhancing their readiness for the teaching profession.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Jarrar Mutlaq Al-Qazzah, Chair of the Fair’s Organizing Committees, highlighted the fair’s goal of fostering direct engagement between student teachers and educational institutions. He noted:
“Through this event, we aim to provide an interactive experience that builds students’ professional awareness and enables them to make informed decisions about their educational future. It offers a unique platform that brings together key entities in recruitment, development, and educational support.”
