Under the Patronage of the Deputy Ambassador of Spain in Kuwait and with the Support of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences College of Engineering and Petroleum Holds an Exhibition Titled "The Age of Glass"

Under the patronage and presence of the Deputy Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Ismael Tornos Milan, and with the support of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, the College of Engineering and Petroleum, represented by the Department of Electrical Engineering, organized an exhibition entitled "The Age of Glass." The event was attended by Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Prof. Khalid Al-Hazzaa, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Nawaf Al-Juwayhel, Acting Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Sadeq Al-Nasr, and a number of faculty members and students from the College of Engineering and Petroleum.
The exhibition aimed to highlight the scientific and technological uses of glass and its role in achieving environmental sustainability, emphasizing the importance of this material in our daily lives.
In this regard, Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Prof. Khalid Al-Hazzaa, said, "The exhibition reflects our shared interest in sustainability and innovation, showcasing the past, present, and future of this remarkable material." He emphasized that the "Age of Glass" exhibition is not just a celebration of the material itself, but also an educational endeavor, providing a unique opportunity for students and researchers to interact with the wonders of glass.
